As Chief Business Officer of Q-State Biosciences, Stephen Ireland is responsible for overseeing the company’s partnering and licensing activities while also taking a lead role in financing initiatives. He has over 35 years of global executive pharmaceutical experience with an extensive track record of excellence in the field. Stephen has concluded over $4 billion of life science transactions and raised over $400M in equity in his career. Prior to Q-State, Stephen served as EVP, Global Business Development of Sublimity Therapeutics where he directed the company’s business operations and R&D portfolio in the area of GI disease therapeutics. He previously was a founding partner at Roadmap Capital, a venture capital firm in Toronto Canada focused on life science and fabless semiconductor investments. In addition, Stephen fulfilled multiple corporate leadership positions at TransTech Pharma and Boehringer Ingelheim. Stephen has also served on the boards of directors of Perimeter Medical Imaging, MMB Networks and Tornado Spectral Systems. He received his BSc with Honors in Biological Sciences from Brock University.
