Q-State Biosciences Awarded $8 Million in Federal Grant Funding in 2019

Q-State Biosciences is proud to announce it has been awarded over $8 million in federal research grant funding during the 2019 calendar year.

Sourced from numerous federal agencies under the Small Business Innovational Research (SBIR) program, the Phase 1 and Phase 2 awards recognize Q-State’s compelling scientific platform and innovative therapeutic discovery capabilities.

Among the awarded grants are programs aimed at advancing Optopatch technologies to improve evaluation of synaptic signaling parameters and to facilitate higher throughput capacity in 384-well format. Additional grants will support therapeutic screens in pain and other neurological conditions.

Prior to 2019, Q-State Biosciences has been awarded over $17.5 million in federal and private grants to aid in technology development and drug discovery efforts.
